The Toronto Catholic District School Board (TCDSB) educates more than 91,000 students from diverse cultures and languages. Our International Education Program is delivered through 31 High Schools and 170 elementary school sites located across the Toronto Area. As the world’s largest publicly funded Catholic school system, we offer an inclusive learning environment, where 90% of TCDSB students graduate - ready and eager to meet the Board’s visionary challenge to transform the world through witness, faith, innovation and action.
International Students (ranging from Grades K - 12) may begin their academic terms in September, February, or for select short-term stays. In partnership with Canada’s Homestay International, Yes Homestay, and other approved vendors, we also provide exceptional homestay placements that are matched with International Students based on personality and proximity to school location.
At the TCDSB, students gain knowledge and achieve academic excellence through an integrated curriculum that reflects Catholic values. Our teachers are dedicated leaders in 21st Century learning, preparing students to compete in a global marketplace dominated by innovation, science, business and information technology. This is balanced with programs offering dramatic, visual and media arts, dance or music.
